Be the Astronaut is designed for visitors to rotate through three stations: NAV, SCI & FLY.
NAV - “Celestial Navigation”
A touchscreen station that teaches the core concepts of astronomy and physics, and introduces the challenges of “Be the Astronaut”
SCI - “Science and Technology”
A touchscreen station that teaches about the machines that make space travel possible, the science of astronomy, and the methods that keep human beings healthy in the harsh conditions of outer space.
These technologies are used to solve the challenges introduced in the NAV station.
FLY
A pilot and co-pilot “fly” their mission in spectacular 3D, using their knowledge of concepts and technology.
A self-contained cockpit, with a 70-inch main monitor, control touchscreens, a joystick, and immersive lighting, vibrations, and sounds.
